I have linksys velop intelligent mesh wifi system 3 pack white ac3900 problems main problem is the nodes turn red color is right place but turn red color half hour after turn blue color working.
Linksys velop red light but working.
A hassle but i ve had solid blue on each velop node for about a day so far.
I m having the same problem with my 2 node tri band velop routers 1 to 2 times each day.
I have tried unplugging it and it starts off at blue whilst rebooting then eventually goes red.
Parent node is wired to a linksys wrt3200ac running a custom firmware.
One of my nodes has been stuck on a solid red light for the last couple of days which supposedly indicates that it isn t connected to the internet even though it s definitely is 100 as i ve been connected to this node with no issues during that time.
Suddenly today lights on the velop turned red and i couldn t connect to it anymore over wifi message saying no internet connection.
While the internet connection has dropped the wi fi network is still operating.
I have set the velop in bridge mode to use my wrt configuration.
Linksys is now aware of the issue and are working on a resolution.
Follow the same steps as above.
You can also check your gigaclear powered by linksys router s dhcp client table to find the ip addresses of your nodes.
I factory reset my cable modem unplugged it plugged it back in then factory reset each velop node and went back through setup.
Follow these steps to reset your velop nodes.
The velop system is composed of nodes.
It has been working perfectly for a couple of years.
In setup i had solid blue for about 30 seconds then solid red on all 3 nodes.
Each node has a light on top that gives you information about the device s operation.
Open the dashboard of the linksys app tap the menu icon and then tap velop administration select a node to view the ip address or tap ip details to see the ip addresses for all nodes in your linksys velop system.

What to do if the parent node has a solid red light and my internet connection is not working.
When the light turns red it flashes for a while before turning solid red.
If you are resetting the first or primary node.
If you are resetting the secondary node only p ress and hold until the light on top of the node turns red fades and flashes bright red again to reset the node to its factory defaults.
